Research Standards

The principles, processes, and quality gates that govern every signal, analysis, and briefing published by the HEVEA Genius Research Team.

01 Source Quality

Primary Sources First

All market data is sourced directly from on-chain networks, regulated exchanges, and central bank publications. No second-hand aggregators without cross-verification.

  • Direct API connection required
  • Minimum 3 independent sources for price data
  • On-chain data verified against node outputs

Data Freshness

Real-time data for active signals; aggregated data for structural analysis. Each data stream has a defined refresh cadence.

  • Price data: sub-1-minute refresh
  • On-chain: 10-minute block lag maximum
  • Macro data: sourced within 24h of publication

Cross-Verification Protocol

Every data point used in signal generation is cross-verified against at least two independent sources before publication.

  • Automated variance alerts at >2% divergence
  • Manual review triggered at >5%
  • Publication held until resolution
02 Signal Generation

Multi-Factor Confirmation

No signal is published based on a single indicator. A minimum of 3 independent data dimensions must converge before a signal is considered.

3 factors min.

Regime Context Mandatory

Every signal is evaluated within the current macro regime. A signal valid in Risk-ON conditions may be invalid in Risk-OFF.

Conviction Scoring

Signals are scored 1–10 on a conviction scale based on the number of confirming factors, timeframe alignment, and historical precedent.

Scale 1–10

Timeframe Hierarchy

Signals respect a clear timeframe hierarchy: macro (monthly/quarterly) takes precedence over tactical (daily/weekly). Conflicts are explicitly noted.

03 Publication

Completeness Requirement

Every published signal must include: entry zone, target range, stop-loss level, conviction score, timeframe, and full thesis. Incomplete signals are not published.

  • Entry zone defined
  • Target range & stop-loss set
  • Full written thesis attached

No Hindsight Editing

Published signals and analyses are never retroactively modified. Corrections are published as separate updates with explicit acknowledgment of the original.

  • Original content immutable post-publish
  • Corrections tagged and timestamped

Disclaimer Standards

All signals carry standardized disclaimer language. The disclaimer is considered part of the signal — not an afterthought.

  • Standardized legal language applied
  • No publication without disclaimer attached
04 Performance

Objective Outcome Recording

Signal outcomes are recorded mechanically: target hit = WIN, stop hit = LOSS, manually closed = MANAGED. No subjective reclassification.

  • WIN — target reached
  • LOSS — stop-loss triggered
  • MANAGED — manual close, reason noted

Public Performance Archive

All signal outcomes are available in the public performance archive. Nothing is removed or hidden.

  • Full historical record publicly accessible
  • Win rate calculated from all recorded signals
  • No removal, no retroactive exclusion

We track every call — the wins, the losses, and the lessons. Transparency is not optional.

Quality Gates

Before publication, every signal passes through an automated quality gate. Failure at any gate holds the signal for review.
