Installation guide
How to install the app
HEVEA Genius is a Progressive Web App (PWA). There is nothing to download — you install it directly from your browser in under 30 seconds.
Before you start
You need an active HEVEA Genius account. If you do not have one yet, choose a plan first. Installation takes about 30 seconds on any device.

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad
The PWA installation only works through Safari on iOS. If you are currently reading this in Chrome or another browser, copy the address and paste it into Safari before continuing.

Go to heveagenius.io/account/
Navigate to the HEVEA Genius dashboard. Log in with your account credentials if prompted. Wait for the page to fully load before proceeding to the next step.

Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari
At the bottom of the Safari browser, tap the Share icon — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing upward. A sheet will appear with sharing and action options.

Tap "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. A confirmation screen will appear showing the app name and icon. You can rename it if you want — "HEVEA Genius" is set by default.

Tap "Add" to confirm
Tap Add in the top-right corner of the confirmation screen. The HEVEA Genius icon will appear on your home screen immediately. Tap it to open the app in full-screen mode, without browser bars.

Open Chrome on your Android device
PWA installation on Android works best with Google Chrome. Open Chrome and navigate to heveagenius.io/account/. Log in with your account credentials if prompted.

Look for the install prompt
Chrome may automatically show a banner at the bottom of the screen saying "Add HEVEA Genius to Home screen". If you see it, tap Install and skip to step 4. If not, continue to step 3.

Open the browser menu and select "Add to Home screen"
If no install banner appeared, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome. In the menu, tap Add to Home screen (or Install app on newer versions of Chrome). A confirmation dialog will appear.

Tap "Install" to confirm
Confirm the installation by tapping Install. The HEVEA Genius icon will be added to your home screen and app drawer. The app opens in its own window, without browser bars.

Enable notifications when prompted
The first time you open the app, you may be asked to allow notifications. Tap Allow to receive push alerts when new signals are published. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings at any time.

When installed as an app, HEVEA Genius opens in its own full-screen window without browser bars. It also supports push notifications, works offline, and loads faster. The experience is closer to a native app than a browser tab.
Make sure you are using Safari (not Chrome or another browser). Tap the Share button (box with upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen — if you are on an iPad, it may be at the top. Open the app from your home screen and log in. You will be prompted to allow notifications on first launch. If you dismissed the prompt, go to your device's Settings, find HEVEA Genius in the app list, and enable notifications from there. On Android, you can also manage this directly in Chrome's site settings.
On iPhone: press and hold the HEVEA Genius icon on your home screen, tap "Remove App", then "Delete from Home Screen". On Android: press and hold the icon and drag it to "Uninstall" or select "Remove" from the menu. Your account and data are not affected.
